Update Your Flooring with Patterned Carpet

DzineSteps loves unique flooring designs and right now patterned carpet is in style.

Break away from neutral and solid color carpets and try patterns. According to HGTV and the Home Flooring Pros, patterned carpets are the latest trend for carpeting your home and for good reason. Patterned carpet adds accent to each room and can easily coordinate with other décor elements, making your living space unique and personal.

Patterned carpet brings together color, texture, and pattern that cannot be matched with solid color carpet. Currently, the most popular designs are leaves, trellises, flowers, and lattice patterns. You can add patterned carpet in splashes, as area rugs and runners, or you can apply the carpet to an entire room. Here are a few examples:

Patterned carpet is typically low-pile so that the pattern is highly visible. However, there are texture options such as Wilton, Axminster, tuft, loop pile, textured plush, and more, enhancing the overall look and feel the carpet brings to your space (to learn more about carpet textures and weaves, visit www.floridafloorfashions.com/weaves.htm). And, if the weave and cut options weren’t enough, there is a variety of color and pattern combinations that can appeal to just about any design.
